Shanaka Perera with 18 points and Sahan Maduka 14 fired Christ King College, Tudella to a 46 to 42 point win over Lyceum International School, Wattala in the opening fixture of the under 17 Gampaha District Zonal basketball tournament at Wattala on Tuesday.

For Lycem, Wattala the best shooter was Dananjaya Polkotuwa with 22 points.

Maris Stella trounce Jennings

Maris Stella trounced Jennings International School by 70 points to 15 at Negombo on Tuesday.

Lahiru Fernando with 20 points and Anuk Abeyratne 14 were the best shooters for Maris Stella. For Jennings International the top scorer was Ashan De Solva with six points.
