Collingwood praises team spirit

Schleck ousted from Tour of Spain

Two-time Tour de France runner-up Andy Schleck has been sent home from the Tour of Spain for breaking team rules. Schleck and his team-mate Stuart O’Grady were withdrawn by team manager Bjarne Riis before 10th stage. “I acknowledge that I have broken a rule of the team by going out for a drink after dinner,” said Schleck.

Harrison to take on champion Haye

David Haye will make the second defence of his WBA world heavyweight title against fellow Briton and 2000 Olympic gold medallist Audley Harrison.

“I don’t believe Audley deserves a chance but enough people want to see him finally destroyed, that is why this fight is happening,” stated Haye.

Daley to dive in Commonwealths

Diver Tom Daley should be fit for the Commonwealth Games in Dehli in October despite missing the 10m platform event at the World Youth Championships.

Daley had hoped to make his return to the platform in Arizona after a triceps injury ruled him out of both the Youth Olympics and European Championships.
